See the Message That Reduced Bold & Beautiful’s Scott Clifton to Tears

Sometimes, when things are right, you just know it. Take The Bold and the Beautiful‘s Scott Clifton (Liam) and girlfriend Elle Anderson.

Back in September, Clifton shared a beautiful birthday message for his love, lamenting having the proper words in English to explain how much she meant to him — while doing an amazing job in getting the point across with the words he does have!

Now, as Clifton hit his milestone 40th birthday, Anderson has returned the gesture with an Instagram post of her own, declaring, “finding words as beautiful as the ones you wrote for my birthday is no small feat, but I’ll do my best…”

Clearly, her best is downright incredible. Not only did she write a message that, quite literally, drew tears from Clifton, she also shared a whole ton of photos of the actor with his family, as a child, with son Ford, with Anderson and, of course, of his 40th birthday celebration.

It was an incredible tribute to as Anderson wrote, one of the “few people who embody unwavering principles, ethics, and integrity as you do. You are one of the most incredible dads I’ve ever known—not just to Ford, but also to our quirky and smelly pet family.”

And that was just the start. In the comments, Clifton responded with dumbfounded love, writing, “I… I have no…. this is so…. no one’s ever…. I’m not crying, you’re crying!”

As we said from the jump, sometimes you just know when things are right. That’s what Anderson concluded about her “heart’s home and the companion of my soul.”

As she put it, “From the moment you walked into my life, everything changed. It feels as if the universe was always leading us to each other, guiding us through every twist and turn until we finally met.”

It doesn’t get much better than that, and we couldn’t be happier for the loving couple. So happy (belated) birthday to Clifton, and we hope his happiness continues to grow without end!
