Tanner Novlan Recently Shares Heartbreaking Loss
Tanner Novlan, known for his role as Dr. John Finnegan on The Bold and the Beautiful, recently shared sad news that has touched the hearts of fans and co-stars alike.
Earlier this week, Tanner took to Instagram to announce the passing of his beloved grandmother, Beatrice Evelyn Novlan, who passed away on February 13 at the age of 93.
In an emotional post, Tanner wrote:
“The most patient teacher, best vegetable gardener, and most amazing grandma I could ever ask for. Iβll miss you.”
His heartfelt tribute was accompanied by a photo of him, prompting an outpouring of condolences from fans and fellow cast members.
Co-stars such as Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, Scott Clifton, Katrina Bowden, and Annika Noelle expressed their sympathies in the comments.
Beatrice Evelyn Novlan was a remarkable woman. According to her obituary, she was a post-World War II teacher who championed girls’ education during a time when it was uncommon for them to attend school.
She was also an avid gardener and cherished spending time with her grandchildren, often setting aside everything to read to them.
She is survived by her sister, children, and grandchildren.
Tannerβs wife, former Bold and the Beautiful and The Vampire Diaries actress Kayla Ewell, also showed her support.
On Valentineβs Day, Kayla shared a series of photos on Instagram to honor her husband during this difficult time.
The couple, who have been married since 2015, share a daughter, Poppy Marie, born on July 16, 2019.
Tanner has been portraying Dr. John Finnegan on The Bold and the Beautiful since July 2020.
Before this, he gained recognition for his role as a struggling actor in a Liberty Mutual commercial in 2019.
We extend our deepest condolences to Tanner and his family during this time of loss.
