At the club, Diane tells Jack they’ll be able to move back into the house soon, but Jack seems distracted. Diane suspects something deeper is bothering him, but Jack brushes it off as work stress.
She wonders if it’s about Kyle, but Jack insists he’s proud of how his son handled Victor’s interference.
Diane tries to lighten the mood with talk about the house renovations, and Jack admits he’s excited, though he had doubts at first. Before leaving, Jack heads off to sign papers with Billy and hopes to catch up on what’s going on.
At the jazz club, tensions rise as Damian accuses Holden of spreading lies about his past with Aristotle Dumas to Lily. Holden denies it, and Nate tries to calm the situation, saying someone’s feeding Lily misinformation.
Damian wonders who would be out to get him—and suspects Victor Newman. Lily arrives, furious that Nate told Damian about her source.
She challenges Damian to be honest about Dumas. He refuses to betray his boss’s trust but insists his intentions are good. Lily wants to know what Dumas really wants with Genoa City.
Meanwhile, Sally vents to Chloe at Crimson Lights about Billy’s decision to work with Phyllis.
Chloe warns her that Phyllis is dangerous and could jeopardize Billy’s company. Sally doesn’t trust Phyllis but isn’t ready to interfere.
Chloe suggests Sally subtly help Billy see the truth before things blow up.
At Society, Billy tells Phyllis about a potential deal with Aristotle Dumas. Phyllis is wary—she’s found no real information on him and fears he could be hiding something dangerous.
She reminds Billy of the importance of Abbott Communications and worries he’s letting his vendetta against Victor cloud his judgment. Lily joins and reveals that Dumas is connected to her half-brother, Damian.
The sudden interest in their businesses raises red flags. Phyllis urges distance from Dumas, but Billy is determined to uncover the truth.
Later, Jack meets with Billy and warns him to be cautious about Dumas, whose background is mysterious and shady.
Though Jack trusts Billy, he worries this is a temptation he doesn’t need. Billy says he’s all in and confident. Jack signs the paperwork to show his support but reiterates his concern.
Back at Crimson Lights, Chloe tells Sally not to wait too long to act. Phyllis arrives and asks to talk to Sally privately.
She wants Sally’s help convincing Billy to steer clear of Dumas. Sally says Billy can make his own choices, but Phyllis argues that Sally has influence. She believes Dumas is manipulating Billy’s anger toward Victor.
Sally questions Phyllis’s motives, but Phyllis insists they need to protect Billy and the company—even if it means working together.
