Days of Our Lives Spoilers Tuesday, April 22: Gabi & Cat’s Encounter – JJ Grills EJ – Johnny’s Mixed Emotions

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, April 22, reveal that Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) will have an encounter while JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) gets ready to grill an awake EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will also have some mixed feelings, so here’s what DOOL fans can expect.

For starters, Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) will gush over some wonderful news.

Days spoilers say Chanel will tell Johnny about the adoption moving forward after all, but he may find it difficult to concentrate on potential fatherhood.

That’s because EJ is in the process of waking up at the hospital, so it won’t be long until Johnny gets updates.

It looks like Johnny will feel conflicted about the improvements in EJ’s condition, so Days may play up the possibility that he was behind his own father’s shooting.

Johnny also still has some issues with EJ due to his conception and the way his dad violated Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), but talking with his mom seemed to help somewhat.

Of course, part of Johnny still loves EJ deep down, so he’ll deal with a lot of messy emotions once he finds out his father’s awake.

Once JJ eventually hears about EJ waking up, he’ll be eager to question him about the night of the shooting.

Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) may make JJ hold off until EJ has the stamina for an interrogation, but JJ will still hope to get some answers ASAP.

However, there’s no guarantee EJ will remember what happened just yet – and even if he does, it’s tough to make predictions about whether EJ will tell the whole truth! EJ could point the finger in the wrong direction with ulterior motives sooner or later.

In the meantime, Gabi will have an interesting encounter with Cat, so they’ll apparently do some bonding.

Cat and Gabi haven’t really been in each other’s orbit since the whole decoy plot involving Clyde Weston (James Read), but they’ll finally have a chance to talk.

Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) and Tate Black (Leo Howard) will have an opportunity to connect as well on Tuesday’s Days episode. That should bring a discussion about the adoption and whether it might fall through again now that EJ has awakened.

Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) has plenty of problems with EJ and doesn’t want him anywhere near her grandchild, so her fears could bubble up once more following the latest EJ developments. Naturally, it may not matter if Sophia and Tate eventually decide to raise their child together.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sophia may be more attached to this baby than she realizes, so stay tuned for any major life decisions that might be brewing.
