Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, May 8, reveal that Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) will face a medical disaster while Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) have a tense encounter. Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) will also have an offer for Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), so let’s discuss what’s ahead on DOOL.
Now that Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) has refused to endorse EJ’s purchase of the hospital, he’s made a prediction about her crawling back eventually.
In the meantime, EJ may try to get Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) on his side when it comes to the hospital sale.
There’s no doubt that Marlena’s opinion would carry a lot of sway with the board.
Of course, Marlena may be just as wary as Kayla when it comes to EJ’s ulterior motives!
Nevertheless, EJ will reconvene with Dr. Jeffrey Russell (Michael Dietz) sooner or later and offer reassurance about their plan ultimately working out.
However, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) has a similar idea now that he’s told Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) they should buy the hospital instead.
The Versavix research is on the line, so this is a very lucrative opportunity.
Days spoilers say Johnny is facing a new opportunity of his own and seems poised to tell Xander that he’ll accept a position at Titan.
That could come after some guidance from Marlena and a run-in with EJ at the pub.
Johnny will continue to give EJ the cold shoulder and may accept this Titan gig as a way to stick it to his father.
Next, Sarah will convince Xander to put work out of his mind and focus on their imminent weekend trip.
Xander and Sarah will prepare for their “mini-moon” in the town square, where it looks like they’ll end up munching on some treats from Sweet Bits.
That’s when Sarah will realize the baked good she’s eating tastes different.
Days spoilers say Sarah will have a coughing fit and struggle to breathe, so there’s a good chance she’ll have an allergic reaction following Felicity Greene’s (Kennedy Garcia) recipe tinkering.
As for Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens), she’ll get some comfort from Abe Carver (James Reynolds) regarding her marriage troubles and the failed adoption.
Other Days spoilers say Cat will offer to let Chad off the hook now that EJ’s gifted his bachelorette auction date to his brother.
Although Cat will assume Chad doesn’t want to bother with this, it was actually a bit of a matchmaker move on EJ’s part.
EJ gave Chad a way to get closer to Cat without the pressure of it being a “real” date, so you can bet Chad will take advantage of that.
