Shocking Twist! Sarah’s accident was due to pregnancy Days of Our Lives Spoilers
Oh boy. Chanel may want to rethink her entire career trajectory on Days of Our Lives (just don’t go back into soap opera acting, please) because it looks like her Sweet Bits baked goods have caused yet another health crisis! Sarah started munching on a lemon scone only to declare it tasted funny and begin choking on it.
We don’t know what’s wrong, but we know from teasers that it’s serious enough that she and Xander are going to miss their weekend getaway.
And while it would be one heck of a twist for Sarah to choke to death and pass on, only for Xander to learn after she’s gone that she was a part of the Philip con, we don’t think her life is actually in jeopardy.
Nor do we think the scones are truly to blame.
Our guess? Sarah’s pregnant again. She said before choking that the scone tasted funny, so her taste buds could be off — a definite hallmark of pregnancy.
Her hormones are shifting, the scone didn’t taste right and as she was trying to tell Xander something was off, the scone might have gone down the wrong pipe, causing the choking.
So long as it truly doesn’t kill her, Sarah and Xander will likely take a trip to the hospital, run some tests and find that they’re going to be parents again!
In the soap opera world, this is exactly the time for it to happen. Sarah’s sure she’s getting away with keeping Philip’s secret. We can see it even in how she’s eased up on constantly wrestling with coming clean.
If she gets pregnant now, only for the truth to come spilling out during her pregnancy, Xander’s going to be torn apart.
He’ll be hurt and betrayed, but also reluctant to push Sarah aside as she’s carrying his second child. But that doesn’t mean it’ll be easy for either of them.
The added stress could put a strain on Sarah and put their baby in jeopardy. If the baby is born fine and healthy, it could be enough to keep them together.
But if anything happens to their baby, that could be the death knell for Xander and Sarah. First a betrayal of trust, then a loss of a child. We don’t know how they’d come back from that.
