Over at the Brady Pub, Roman Brady is still concerned about the missing gun from his lockbox—the same night EJ was shot. He’ll tell Kate Roberts Brady that Johnny disappeared around that time and had been furious with EJ. This makes Johnny a top suspect in Roman’s eyes, and he’ll want Kate’s perspective on the situation. Roman doesn’t want to believe Johnny is guilty, but he’d be foolish not to keep an eye on him.

Elsewhere, Cat Green will have a tense encounter with EJ that completely shifts her perception of him. Perhaps she’ll see a softer side—or perhaps she’ll witness the manipulative, dangerous EJ others have warned her about. This encounter could cause her to pull back or start keeping secrets.

Meanwhile, Sarah Horton Kiriakis becomes increasingly suspicious of Xander, who’s pushing hard to purchase the hospital. The more determined he is, the more Sarah fears he’s hiding something. She’s already voiced concerns to Kayla Johnson, noting that if EJ is interested, there must be bigger stakes involved. In fact, both Titan and DiMera Enterprises are in the race—along with Philip Kiriakis.

Philip, however, is diving into something far more sinister. He meets secretly with Kevin Lambert, a member of Dr. Jeffrey Russell’s research team, and instructs him to steal Dr. Russell’s lab files. This means there won’t be any remaining doses or data when Shawn Brady and Steve Johnson launch their own investigation later in the week.

As for Cat and EJ, things will shift between them after she witnesses something unexpected. Her behavior might change the next time Chad sees her, and if she keeps it to herself, it could raise suspicions.

Back at Chanel’s apartment, Johnny arrives with a bouquet of white roses, doing his best to win back her trust. The memory of hurting her still weighs heavily on him. Chanel has started to open her heart again—but Paulina isn’t so easily swayed. Sitting with a tight smile and sharp eyes, she confronts Johnny directly.

She lays it out clearly—she doesn’t trust him yet. Chanel might be seeing second chances, but Paulina sees red flags. Johnny promises he’s changed and that he didn’t shoot EJ, explaining that he just needed time to clear his head that night. Paulina, however, isn’t convinced. If Johnny is lying, she warns him, he’ll have to answer to her—and she doesn’t play.

At the Brady Pub, Roman paces near the bar, clearly troubled. He admits to Kate that the timing of everything—the missing gun, Johnny’s disappearance, his rage—doesn’t sit right with him. Kate asks if he truly believes Johnny shot EJ. Roman says he doesn’t want to, but it’s hard to ignore the signs. EJ had manipulated Chanel and nearly ruined Johnny’s chance to make things right. While Roman stops short of accusing Johnny, he vows to keep him on the radar until Steve finishes reviewing the security footage.
