Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, May 15: Philip might have just messed up big. Plus, will another birthday end in disaster?
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, May 15 reveal Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) are in for a surprise. Meanwhile, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) ponders the future. Plus, it’s Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) birthday. Here’s what you need to know.
Complications
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal a problem. See, Steve and Shawn go ahead with their plan to break in, but it won’t go as planned. From the weekly, we know that someone got there first. And since Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) has Kevin Lambert (Chadwick Hopson) working with him, we assume he’s the one who steals the drug. This could lead to complications for the hospital bid if the missing drug is brought to light. Which, of course, could make it hard to get the drug where it’s needed. Not to mention the implications for the future of that drug and its approval. And if Philip is caught in a theft plot, that is as bad or worse than the fraud situation Titan-DiMera can’t afford to get out.
Should I, or shouldn’t I?
In other news, Stephanie ponders the offer Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) made her. Which is, of course, about publishing he book. While she initially was opposed to the idea, she did soften, thanks to Alex’s prodding. So much so, she’s been thinking of pen names. We think she’s going to end up deciding to go for it. We’re looking forward to seeing where they go with this.
Brothers
Elsewhere, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) tells Philip how he’s been feeling. Clearly, he’s still dealing with the feelings of betrayal from the fraud. Not to mention his frustration and anger at being forced to keep Philip around.
Birthday, take two
Finally, there’s another birthday girl in Salem this week. This time, it’s Sophia marking the special occasion. Since she’s on bedrest, Tate Black (Leo Howard) will do his best to make the day memorable. Obviously, she’s going to be dealing with some disappointment that the day can’t be what she might have hoped for.

Sophia just better hope it goes better than Rachel Black’s (Alice Halsey) did. Of course, if mom finds out she’s planning to place the baby without her approval, this might get uglier than Rachel’s day.
