General Hospital Spoilers: Brook Lynn Could Have Kept Her Baby

General Hospital fans seem to believe that despite everything that had happened in the past, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) could have kept her baby, Gio.

Sure, she also would have had to tell Dante (Dom Zamprogna) that he was the father of her child, but at the same time, she most likely would have had the entire backing of the Quartermaine family to help raise her child.

Not only that, but Gio is in for the shock of his life when he finds out that his family is actually seriously wealthy. Sure, she might have had that baby at 16, but it’s not like her mother Lois and the rest of the family didn’t have the means to take care of the child.

As our loyal readers can imagine, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some have even commented with, “I have to believe that having your whole identity and the loving memory of your parents shattered would not be soothed by finding out you’re wealthy. At least not for most people who value things other than money.”

Another fan wrote, “Honestly, Brook Lynn knew how toxic the Quartermaine family is and maybe wanted the child to grow up with a normal life. I can appreciate that. I actually think Lois did a solid by placing the baby with loving parents she knew well from the hood.”

“I risk getting downvoted for this unpopular take on Lois, but I appreciated your bravery and opted to throw in my two cents.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Brooklynn had a closed adoption over 20 years ago. It was her choice, her business. It’s different than Carly raising Michael, passing Jason off as the father while AJ was around.”

“The only thing that Brooklynn did ‘wrong’ was not telling Dante but even then I’m an advocate for a woman’s right to choose. It was a one night stand, it was a teenage mistake. She chose to deal with it this way and it should’ve stayed in the past.
