General Hospital Spoilers: Jason & Britt’s Second Chance at Romance?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) may get a second chance at romance. Steve Burton’s character could be ready for a revived love story, so let’s talk about what might be coming up on the ABC soap.

When Jason returned to Port Charles following his presumed demise and the undercover FBI mission he’d been roped into, he got some bad news.

Jason was saddened over the updates he received about Britt facing a grim fate.

Of course, GH fans will recall that Britt got nicked by Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) poisonous hook, which led to her tragic outcome.

It seemed like Britt was gone for good, but shocking comebacks are always a possibility in Port Charles!

Kelly Thiebaud is returning this July, but the show hasn’t confirmed whether she’ll be stepping back into the role of Britt or not.

It’s possible Thiebaud could be playing someone else entirely, but it’d be a mistake to rule out Britt’s return just because she’s supposedly deceased.

Many soap characters have seemed to be gone forever before ultimately showing up alive again anyway.

In the June 6 episode, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) thought back to when he first parachuted into the Metro Court pool, so that brought back some Britt memories.

Cody and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) even shared a toast to Britt, so the show might’ve been providing a clue about her eventual return.

GH writers might find a way to cancel Britt’s fatal twist and perhaps undo her Huntington’s disease diagnosis, too.

There have been some rumblings about Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) storyline involving clones and some other big twists, so anything can happen on the ABC soap.

If Thiebaud is indeed returning as Britt, then this would be a great opportunity to revive her romance with Jason.

The show previously tried pairing Jason and Britt up for a while, which resulted in many fans getting on board with them as a duo.

Even if Kelly Thiebaud is playing someone else instead, the show could still take advantage of her on-screen chemistry with Steve Burton.

Thiebaud’s character really needs to be paired with Jason no matter what since he hasn’t had a proper love interest in quite some time.
