‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Belle Will Suggest Marlena Hypnotize EJ
We know Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) didn’t shoot his father. We also know that, Nonetheless, he’s still preparing to go to trial to prove his innocence.
We also know that Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) didn’t shoot him. The footage on the memory card that EJ so creatively tampered with is likely a deepfake.
Chanel was definitely at the DiMera mansion, and the two of them argued, and she left. However, it looked like EJ added more to the video.
That said, it was strange that Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) didn’t allow Johnny to examine the video. If anyone could spot that the footage was doctored, it’s Johnny.
What else is crazy about the situation is the way the Salem PD is handling the case. There’s no physical evidence and no murder weapon. All Jada went by was hearsay.
EJ is going to realize the best way to help exonerate his son is to simply remember who shot him. He doesn’t have a clear memory of what went down that night.
Belle Black (Martha Madison) may suggest to EJ that, since her mom is a psychiatrist, she could hypnotize him to uncover the real shooter. Marlena has solved many mysteries with hypnosis.
EJ isn’t exactly Marlena’s favorite person. However, she would do anything to help Johnny, especially at her daughter’s request.
If EJ undergoes hypnosis and remembers, Marlena may not want to learn the true culprit. We suspect the person who pulled the trigger is Rachel Black (Alice Halsey).
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Marlena Would Take The Secret To Her Grave
We could imagine a scenario in which EJ remembers that his young niece shot him. We think it could be a matter of revenge since EJ took her other grandmother, Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle), away.
Rachel’s mother is Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) after all. We also predict that Marlena may hide the fact that Rachel is the shooter.
In the Days summer preview, we see Belle ask her mother if she knew who shot EJ. The way her voice sounded was as if she could tell Marlena was hiding something.
Marlena is fiercely protective of her granddaughter, and she would no doubt take this secret to the grave. She may not even share the information with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).
Marlena also has to consider that Child Protective Services has threatened to take Rachel away from her parents in the past. Marlena would fear for Rachel’s well-being.
If Kristen somehow finds out, she will go to the ends of the earth to protect her daughter. Kristen would go to prison if it meant that Rachel wasn’t further traumatized.
Soap leakers indicate that Rachel is the shooter. While it’s still speculation, the show dropped several clues that the little girl is the one who shot her uncle.
It would be horrifying for Marlena to discover the truth from EJ’s own mouth. However, we can envision this soapy scenario playing out as Marlena would certainly have a moral dilemma on her hands.
