Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Kristen’s Shooter Confession, Lies to Cover Up Rachel’s Guilt?
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers hint that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) may make a false shooter confession. Will Kristen lie to cover up Rachel Black’s (Alice Halsey) actions the night EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) nearly lost his life?
In DOOL’s August 12 episode, EJ had another hypnosis session with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).
That brought a new memory to the surface – one that pointed to the culprit being a woman.
EJ remembers trying to get the gun away from “her,” but he couldn’t quite recall the female character standing in front of him.
However, EJ has narrowed it down to a few logical candidates since Kristen, Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez), Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) were all at the house that night.
Of course, the real answer to this mystery will be a lot more complicated.
After all, it wouldn’t make sense for EJ to ask any of those women to give him the gun so politely.
Plus, it seems like the reason for EJ’s mental block may be because he cares about the person who pulled the trigger.
On some level, EJ may be trying to protect his young niece.
All signs are pointing to Rachel being the one who grabbed the weapon and ultimately fired it at EJ before repressing the memory.
Days spoilers suggest Marlena may reveal a Rachel-based theory to Belle Black (Martha Madison) in the coming episodes, so everything could be building to that big reveal.
As for Kristen, she could make a mess of things if she gets updates on Marlena’s suspicions and decides to make a bogus confession to the cops.
Kristen would do anything for Rachel, so she might admit to shooting EJ when she’s actually innocent.
During their recent conversation at the pub, Kristen swore to Rachel that she wasn’t the one who shot EJ.
It was Kristen’s way of easing Rachel’s mind, but it also seemed like a way to set up Kristen’s false admission of guilt.
Days spoilers say some big twists are brewing for Rachel, who may get confused if Kristen suddenly claims she’s behind the shooting after all.
Kristen may want to deliver a guilty plea and head straight to prison to ensure that none of this affects Rachel.
A mother’s sacrifice would certainly make sense in a situation like this.
Before Days can move forward with Kristen’s return to the slammer, perhaps Rachel’s memories regarding that night will come rushing back.
Will Rachel remember what she did and end up horrified? Will Rachel insist on coming forward to save Kristen from another prison stint?
