General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Dumps Brennan, Romance With Anna Looming!
General Hospital spoilers tease that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has once again fallen in love with a man who has already betrayed her.
Carly and Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) romance started slowly after Brennan returned to Port Charles as the head of the local WSB branch.
While it’s true Brennan did several favors for calling by pulling strings, she has no idea just how much involvement the WSB has in her family’s lives.
Jack Brennan helped Josslyn Jacks after the death of Cyrus Renault
After Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) was murdered by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), Joss made it her mission to get justice for her now deceased boyfriend.
She turned to Brennan for help proving that Cyrus killed Dex, and he made sure to leave enough breadcrumbs to prove Cyrus’ guilt. This led to a confrontation between Joss and Cyrus.
Joss shot and murdered Cyrus as he was planning to kill her. Although Cyrus’ death was self-defense, Brennan manipulated the situation by covering up the crime scene and removing all traces that Cyrus had ever been there.
Josslyn Jacks joins the WSB
Brennan praised Josslyn for the way she handled Cyrus and used that as a way to entice Josslyn to join the WSB. Looking for purpose in her life, Josslyn agreed.
And after a brief training period, Josslyn began her first mission as a spy. Meanwhile, Carly and Brennan fell in love.
The problem is that Carly has no idea that Brennan coerced her daughter in the dangerous spy world.
But now that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has figured out the truth, its only a matter of time before Carly figures it all out as well.
Jack Brennan turns to Anna Devane
Once Carly learns the extent of Brennan’s influence over Josslyn, there is no doubt that she will want nothing more to do with him. Not only that, but she’s likely to find a way to get revenge.
But Brennan may turn to Anna and the two of them might realize they are attracted to each other. Brennan and Anna have quite the history even through they’ve never been romantically involved.
But they might just find they have much more in common than Carly and Brennan ever did. It won’t happen overnight, but a romance between Anna and Brennan seems quite likely down the road.
