General Hospital Spoilers Thursday, August 21: Drew’s Plan Fails – Nina Silences Ava – Molly Questions Cody

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, August 21, reveal that Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) plan will fail while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) silences Ava Jerome (Maura West). Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) will also have a question for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), so let’s discuss all the excitement.

For starters, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will think Drew won this time, so she’ll urge Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to accept it.

Of course, Curtis won’t let Drew get away with launching the investigation into Stella’s insurance fraud, so he’ll be ready to get payback.

Over with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), he’ll offer Drew a deal.

If Drew stops the investigation, then Martin will be willing to sign the statement against Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).

It looks like Drew will either be unwilling or unable to stop what he’s set in motion with Stella, so he’ll be out of luck when it comes to the assault case.

The charges won’t stick without Martin’s witness account, so Michael and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will score a victory.

ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) will tell Sonny that this should be good as they await the outcome of this situation with Martin and Drew.

It’ll seem like Justine is taking great pleasure in watching Drew squirm and not be able to get his way.

In the end, Drew won’t have Martin to back him up, so he’ll fume over not being able to have Michael arrested as planned.

Next, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will tell Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda) that she has to be there or Brook Lynn will never forgive herself.

Whether this involves Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) ordeal or a situation with Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), Tracy will be right as usual.

As for Molly, she’ll approach Cody with a smile and a question that requires his expertise.

Molly may have a cowboy-related question for her novel, but she’ll quickly see that Cody is upset.

Cody will no doubt open up about Maxie’s medical drama and get some support.

Since Molly will realize something on Thursday’s show, she may determine that she still has feelings for Cody despite her best attempts to shut them down.

Meanwhile, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) will catch up with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), so that’ll bring some sweet moments by the Metro Court pool.

“What did I do for you?” Ric asks in Thursday’s GH preview video.

Liz may find some way to sing Ric’s praises and give Ava a chance to spot them together.

Ava will also discover some interesting information on Thursday’s show, but Nina will want her to promise that she’ll keep whatever news she uncovers to herself.

Ava already knows about Nina’s suspicions regarding Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) being Daisy Gilmore’s (Brenden and Evelyn Beimford) stalker, so her discovery has to be something else.

It’s possible Ava will get updates on something else that ties in with Willow, but it’s also possible Nina will just be trying to save Ava from another round of Ric drama.

Finally, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will discuss their contentious history, but maybe they can also keep building on the progress they’ve made.
