Ari is an adult, an 18-year-old coed who is responsible for her own actions. But that doesn’t mean that a mom stops being a mom—quite the opposite!
Will Ari Get Gabi’s Approval?
Gabi is in college and forging her own path. This includes dating and all that goes along with it. But to Gabi, Ari will always be her little girl and that means sticking her nose in where it might not belong.
Gabi is used to speaking her mind and this will not change overnight. Ari may wish her mom would chill and stay silent when it comes to her love life but we don’t see that happening.
Gabi Sticks Her Nose In
Of course Gabi has reason to worry. Ari’s previous love interest, Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer), got her kidnapped. Thankfully, Ari has moved on and is ready to be happy with someone new.
Doug is an example of Ari’s choice in men—she likes them a bit older. While Doug turned out to be a dud, and stuck on Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis), he could have been a sign of things to come.
Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) is back in town and behind-the-scenes intel suggests that the actor, Tyler Joseph Andrews, screen tested with Marissa Reyes as part of the audition. As such, we predict that the show is about to pair these two.
Theo is Back in Town
Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) is interested in Ari, but her taste leans toward a bit more sophistication, and Theo fits that bill.
After Claire Brady (last played by Isabel Durant) betrayed Theo he’s displayed a bit more edginess. While this could make him attractive to Ari, Gabo will be less than thrilled.
Don’t be surprised if Gabi thinks that Theo is on the rebound. Gabi has never held her tongue and she is especially protective of Ari.
Will Gabi have warning words for Theo? Definitely maybe!
