General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Drops Brennan, Fights Britt for Jason?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) may drop Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) and fight Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Despite Britt’s claims that she wants nothing to do with Jason, we all know she’s protesting too much.

Britt is indeed going to be Jason’s love interest, but that doesn’t mean she’ll be the only one.

Based on Carly’s behavior in GH’s September 17 episode, a love triangle could be brewing.

Carly couldn’t resist bragging about her history with Jason, which can’t hold a candle to whatever Britt shares with him – at least from Carly’s perspective!

Britt insisted she wasn’t interested in competing with Jason and Carly’s bond, even if she secretly knows it isn’t as strong as Carly thinks.

Jason still hasn’t told Carly about Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) WSB status, so that’s something to keep in mind.

However, Carly’s going to be far angrier with Brennan when the truth about Josslyn’s risky job comes out.

Brennan is the one who recruited Josslyn and dragged her into danger, so Carly’s surely going to dump him in the end.

That’ll leave Carly single and could perhaps lead to her pursuing a romance with Jason again.

Carly may forgive Jason’s deception pretty quickly since it’s been about keeping a promise to Josslyn.

That’s not nearly as bad as Brennan’s secrecy since he’s the whole reason Josslyn entered this wild spy world.

Britt doesn’t want to be Carly’s competition, but that could be where this storyline’s headed anyway.

After Britt surrenders to her feelings and starts letting herself fall for Jason once more, Carly may want Jason back romantically.

Britt knows Jason tends to put Carly and those closest to her above all else, but could that ever change? Will Jason make an effort to put Britt first instead and start shifting his loyalty?

Time will tell, but Carly may not give Jason up without a fight!

Once Carly breaks things off with Brennan, she may make it her mission to reignite her romance with Jason and leave Britt heartbroken.
