Days of Our Lives’ Cary Christopher OUT as Thomas DiMera, Confirms DOOL Exit
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Cary Christopher is OUT as Thomas DiMera now that the actor’s confirmed his departure on social media. In a heartfelt Facebook post, Christopher explained that he wrapped filming at Days because he scored a part on another show.
“Yes it is true…I left Days of our Lives several months ago because I booked a role as a series regular for a new show coming to Amazon Prime in 2026,” Christopher admitted.
Although Christopher couldn’t be in two places at once and had to leave Days behind, he considers himself lucky that he called it his home for almost six years.
Christopher was only four years old when he first started at Days, so it’s been fun for fans to watch him grow!
DOOL was a “dream set to work on” according to Cary Christopher, who sang Billy Flynn’s (Chad DiMera) praises and noted that he “got to share a nice goodbye” with him.
Christopher had a sweet message for Flynn as well as all the viewers who have faithfully tuned in.
“Billy- you were the best tv dad a kid could have. It always was so great working with you and learning from you. And thank you, Days fans!! You all are the best,” Christopher said.
Since DOOL films so far in advance, Christopher still has more scenes coming up as Thomas – including some on October 22 and October 31.
Although Christopher’s final airdate hasn’t been confirmed yet, we’ll bring you updates as more news comes in.
Christopher included some photos that were taken behind the scenes over the years and admitted he doesn’t know what’s ahead for Thomas, so fans will just have to keep watching for answers.
As for what’s next for Cary Christopher, he pointed out that you can still catch him in Weapons, which will start streaming on HBO Max soon if you didn’t see it in theaters.
Christopher will also be on Chicago Med, the live-action series of Spider-Noir, Lanterns and It’s Not Like That, so he’s got plenty of projects in the works.
In the meantime, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Thomas will get some guidance from Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) and try to navigate more family drama.
