Big Reason To Celebrate

Dove took to Instagram to share her monumental news…she’s 5 years sober! In her post, she wrote, “Today I celebrate 5 years of sobriety.

I remember exactly what happened the last night I drank. I was so excited to have been invited to a holiday party.

I was scared and anxious so I just kept drinking. I drank so much I got sick, and that hadn’t happened since college.

I was using alcohol to cope with chronic pain, my housing situation, and my frustration with politics of our world. I have alcoholism in my family, and I feel very lucky to have caught myself before it was too late.

If you’re out there struggling with drinking you’re not alone and there are many ways to get help. I’m on your side and you got this.”

Sharing Hope

Dove’s heartfelt message resonated deeply with fans and followers, showing just how far she’s come and the strength it took to get here. (See why Dove was Soap Hub performer of the month.)

Her candid words about her struggles and the night that changed everything are a reminder that seeking help is brave, possible, and worth it.

Dove’s journey also highlights the importance of recognizing the signs of struggle and taking steps to make a change. Five years sober is no small feat; it deserves all the celebration and applause.

Her message is clear: You’re not alone, and help is out there when you need it.
