Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that some Salem surprises are on the way, so we’ve got some February sweeps busters to talk about. Here’s what DOOL fans can expect as all the Days drama heats up.
For starters, Rachel Black’s (Finley Rose Slater) disappearance will lead to some bonding between Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).
Should Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) be worried about missing Rachel bringing her parents together?
Next, let’s discuss Kim Coles since she’ll reprise her role as Nurse Whitley King for one episode. Look for Whitley to appear on February 5 and shake things up.
Meanwhile, Rachel Boyd will step into the role of Sophia Choi, so she’ll be taking over the part currently played by Madelyn Kientz starting February 12.
Sophia will grow closer to Tate Black (Leo Howard) and perhaps latch onto the idea of building a happy family with him.
We’ll see Sophia’s manipulative side come back out to play, but a big twist could be brewing in this storyline.
There are good reasons to be suspicious about the paternity of Sophia’s unborn child since there’s no proof this baby truly belongs to Tate.
It seems likely that Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) is the father thanks to a potential off-screen hookup, but that may not be revealed until down the road.
Elsewhere, Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will have a hard time fighting the magnetic pull between them.
There’ll be a spark that Chad and Cat struggle to deny.
The same goes for Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), who’ll find himself unable to resist the pull in Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) direction.
Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) will just have to accept that Stephanie is the queen of Alex’s heart as we head toward Valentine’s Day.
Days of Our Lives February Sweeps: Recast Debuts, Shocking Whodunits and Messy Love Triangles
Speaking of Valentine’s Day, there’ll be some other couple-related developments that play out.
JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) will no doubt have something special in mind for Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez).
Sadly, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) won’t get to spend Valentine’s Day with John Black (Drake Hogestyn) since he’s gone MIA.
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will search for clues about John’s whereabouts during February sweeps, but his missing status will lead to awful news down the road.
John won’t survive this final mission, so any hints Steve uncovers now will bring alarm bells.
Other Days spoilers say Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) be tempted to step into more romantic territory due to their growing mutual attraction.
The closer Tate gets to Sophia, the more Holly’s going to fall for Doug.
As for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Belle Brady (Martha Madison), they’ll act on their own attraction by landing in bed together.
Belle will ignore any naysayers and warning signs as she surrenders to some EJ passion.
We should also mention that some whodunits are ahead in Salem.
EJ will take a bullet in a storyline that leaves fans asking who pulled the trigger, so we’ll see if February sweeps puts the pieces in place for that.
Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) will also take a tumble down the hospital elevator shaft at some point – and it won’t be an accident.
The timing of this fall isn’t certain just yet, but February sweeps might get the ball rolling on the mystery!
Regardless, our Days predictions point to some wild twists and turns playing out in the month to come.
