When she was told her baby had died, Nicole found herself strangely drawn to Eric and Sloan’s newly-adopted infant and for a time, insisted he was her child. But now she has been proven right when Eric brings Jude to the DiMera mansion and puts him in his mother’s arms.
As news of what Sloan did spreads around town, Rafe heads to Melinda’s office to question her. “You’re saying you know nothing about this baby switch?” the detective asks. Melinda does her best to feign surprise. “Did you say ‘baby switch?’” she responds, acting stunned by the news of the crime she helped orchestrate.
After Sloan confessed to Eric that Jude was Nicole and EJ’s son, he quickly left to return the baby intending to come back to finish things with her. But Sloan disappeared and now reappears at the DiMiera mansion, much to Nicole’s surprise! “Hello, Nicole,” Sloan says tentatively, having slipped in the side entrance. At first, stunned to hear her voice, Nicole is overtaken with rage as she unleashes on Sloan. “I missed six months of my son’s life!” she shouts. “Because of your lies!” And with that, Nicole hauls off and punches Sloan across the face, sending her reeling!
Of course, Nicole doesn’t know the whole truth about Jude yet!
