Days of our Lives Spoilers April 22: EJ Wakes Up, Johnny Frets Are Sophia and Tate coming around?
Days of our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, April 22, should celebrate EJ’s recovery. But Johnny isn’t sure how he feels about it.

It’s understandable why Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) doesn’t want Salem Hospital shut down. The place is a miracle worker! EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) just seemed to lie there. Nobody really did much of anything. And now he’s all better! Well, if not all better, at least somewhat better. He’s awake. That’s a start.
Does EJ know who shot him? More importantly, will he point the finger at the culprit, or keep quiet for his own nefarious reasons? We can see EJ going either way with that one.
In the meantime, Johnny (Carson Boatman) knows he should be pleased that his father is conscious again. But he just can’t summon up the enthusiasm. Is that because of the truth he learned before EJ was shot? Or because of what he’s afraid EJ might say about him now…?
Couples Therapy
Sophia (Rachel Boyd) had a very clear plan for her future. And a baby was definitely not part of it. She and Tate (Leo Howard) were in agreement about how much they wanted to give their child up for adoption and move on.
In Tate’s case, it was because he had a somewhat fuzzier plan for his future, mostly involving Holly (Ashley Puzemis). But now that Holly has dumped him, Tate is less sure of what he wants. Maybe Sophia isn’t so bad, after all? Here’s hoping his selfishness doesn’t ruin this girl’s life!
Frenemies 2
Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Abigail (Marci Miller) had a complicated relationship. Sometimes, they were best gal pals. Sometimes, they were sworn enemies, fighting over Chad (Billy Flynn) and little things like Gabi being convicted of a crime Abigail actually committed.
Also, at one point, Abigail actually adopted Gabi’s personality…and somehow still managed to blame it on her. So we can only imagine how Gabi feels about Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) impersonating Abigail. Sounds like it could be pretty triggering!
