Days of Our Lives New Head Writing Team Material Debuts, Wednesday, April 23: Gabi’s Bold Move – Chad Spies On Cat

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, April 23, reveal that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will spy on Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) while Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) makes a bold move. The new head writing team’s material will also debut, so here’s what DOOL viewers can look forward to.

For starters, the hospital fundraiser will officially get underway, so that’ll bring plenty of kids out for the street fair.

Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) will no doubt be excited about all the fun they’re going to have.

Days spoilers say Cat will share a little moment with Charlotte and Thomas on Wednesday’s DOOL episode, so Chad will witness that scene nearby.

It may give Chad a chance to see Cat bonding with the kids and showing off the sweet side that he’s so drawn to.

Over with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), they’ll mull over the mess that Philip Kiriakis’ (John-Paul Lavoisier) forged letter deception kicked off.

Stephanie and Alex faced Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) backlash for their role in all the secrecy, but they still chose to protect Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey).

Wednesday’s episode will leave Stephanie and Alex reflecting on their decisions as they try to determine if they made the right ones.

In the meantime, Xander will have another fierce faceoff with Philip, so he’ll once again fly into a rage until Sarah tries to settle him down.

Other Days spoilers say Gabi will come home fuming for a couple different reasons.

Thanks to her psychic abilities, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) realized Gabi was at the DiMera mansion the night EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) was shot.

Now Susan is pointing the finger at Gabi and could stir up a whole lot of trouble. EJ doesn’t remember who tried to wipe him out, but Susan seems eager to nail Gabi for this.

However, there seems to be far more to the story of who actually pulled the trigger on EJ that evening.

Although Gabi was indeed at the house, that doesn’t mean she’s the real culprit.

Gabi will complain to Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) on Wednesday’s show, so that may involve ranting about Susan as well as JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) since he accused her, too.

Now that Gabi and JJ are on the outs, Gabi will ultimately decide to make a bold move and may make a prediction about causing some jealousy.

It won’t be long until Gabi bids $10,000 on Alex in a bachelor auction for the hospital fundraiser, so JJ will definitely be caught off guard.

We should also mention that Paula Cwikly and Jeanne Marie Ford, who took over as Days’ co-head writers back in July 2024, have a big day coming up. Wednesday’s episode will bring the debut of Ford and Cwikly’s writing material, so fans won’t want to miss it!
