Days of Our Lives Spoilers Friday, May 2: Tate Explodes at Johnny – Marlena’s Alarm Bells

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, May 2, reveal that Tate Black (Leo Howard) will explode at Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) while Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) stands up to Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson). Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) may also hear some alarm bells, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on DOOL.

First, Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) will offer some guidance to Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), who’ll be fuming over Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) getting away with his fraud.

Although Sarah may push Xander to focus on their happy marriage and family, she’ll be struggling with guilt deep down.

Sarah is still hiding how long she knew about Philip’s forged letter, so keeping quiet will really take a toll on her.

Over with Tate, he’ll barge in Johnny’s room at the Salem Inn and unleash his anger over the failed adoption.

Days spoilers say Tate will deliver a fist to Johnny’s face, so he’ll make it clear that he’s furious over Johnny messing everything up.

Meanwhile, Days fans can expect Sophia to run out of patience when it comes to her controlling mother.

Now that Johnny and Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) are no longer adoption candidates, Amy might revisit the idea of Sophia and Tate raising the baby themselves.

Perhaps Amy will view this as a sign that Tate and Sophia are meant to be this child’s parents.

Amy might also argue that after the disastrous couple Tate and Sophia just picked, she won’t approve any other options they bring to her.

Days spoilers hint that Sophia will reach her breaking point and finally stand up to Amy.

Since Sophia’s 18th birthday is just around the corner, she might remind Amy of that news and contend that her mom won’t be making decisions for her much longer.

Next, Belle Black (Martha Madison) will open up to Marlena about accepting her love for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).

Although Belle doesn’t want to feel this way about someone so complicated, she can’t deny what’s in her heart anymore.

Belle is starting to see hope for EJ to turn his life around since he’s got a new attitude following his medical ordeal.

However, Marlena will never truly trust EJ and may warn Belle to keep her guard up.

Although Marlena will understand that Belle has to make her own choices, she’ll still show off her protective side and could worry about the possibility of more devastation.

Across town, EJ will summon Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney) and put her to work on a special mission.

Rita is a loyal DiMera assistant and will usually do pretty much anything that’s asked of her – even if it’s shady!

Will this tie in with EJ’s concerns about Johnny now that he’s seen the memory card footage? Could it involve something more positive like EJ’s bachelorette auction date with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) or his upcoming attempt to buy the hospital?
