Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, May 7, reveal that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will spill his secret plan while Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) gets some surprising news. Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will also reconnect, so let’s discuss what’s in store in Wednesday’s DOOL episode.
At the DiMera mansion, Dr. Jeffrey Russell (Michael Dietz) will show up for a strategy session since he’s got a hush-hush partnership with EJ.
Days spoilers say EJ will come clean about his secret plan to buy the hospital, which should give him control of Dr. Russell’s research lab contract as well.
Dr. Russell has been struggling to get out of that contract, so EJ’s hospital purchase could be the solution.
That could open the door to more profitable opportunities when it comes to the development of Versavix, the sepsis drug that Dr. Russell is currently working on.
Of course, it’s also the drug that Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) needs to stay alive!
Days spoilers say Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will come up with a solution to two different problems on Wednesday’s episode, so this could relate to Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemer) upcoming lab break-in.
It looks like EJ could also face some snags when it comes to his plans to become the hospital’s new bankroller, so stay tuned for the challenges ahead of him.
In the meantime, Shawn and Belle will spend some time reconnecting. Since John Black (Drake Hogestyn) is missing and Bo is facing a major health setback, Belle and Shawn will no doubt bond over their fathers’ ordeals.
Over with Xander, Days spoilers say he’ll get updates on Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) latest discovery.
Alex found Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) novel manuscript, so it sounds like he’ll take One Stormy Night to Xander and pitch its potential to be a hit.
DOOL fans can expect Alex to gush over Stephanie’s talent and make predictions about putting Titan-DiMera publishing on the map.
Once Alex gets Xander on board, he’ll do his best to sell Stephanie on his proposal, too.
