Surprise! The News Days of Our Lives’ Alison Sweeney Has Been ‘Hinting at All Year’
Back in February, we brought fans news that Days of Our Lives’ Alison Sweeney (Sami) had teamed up for a secret project with Hallmark fave Ashley Williams. We suspected the duo had been on location in Spain filming a new movie for the network but we never imagined that they’d in fact been filming two movies!
“Ashley and I are so excited to announce the projects we’ve been hinting at all year,” Sweeney recently revealed on her official Instagram then went on to explain that “To Barcelona, With Love and To Barcelona, Forever are movies all about fun, romance and friendship — and of course gorgeous Barcelona!”
The two movies will kick off the Hallmark Channel’s annual Passport to Love event with the first premiering on Saturday, June 7, followed by the second on Saturday, June 14. Both features will air at 8:00 pm.

“I’m so grateful to have been able to work with Ashley Williams, Ron Oliver, Julie Sherman Wolfe and Craig Baumgarten on this adventure!” Sweeney added, to which the network replied, “It’s not too early to start packing, is it?” And the actress assured, “Never too early!”
Sweeney also posted four photos with Williams on location… One was on the streets of Barcelona while another showcased the beautiful backdrop of the city — and of course, the two had a little “golden” fun as they laughed next to a dashing detective.
