Days of our Lives Spoilers Weekly Video Preview May 19-23: Beatdown, An Explosion and Looming Death
Life and death struggles rock Salem to its core, according to the Days of our Lives spoilers preview. While Philip is the recipient of a brutal beatdown, Bo inches closer to death, and tragic news arrives regarding the missing John. Here’s your DAYS video preview for the week of 19-23, 2025.
Men in Crisis
Three men find themselves in crisis this week. “Nothing you say can save you,” Xander (Paul Telfer) announces to a bruised and battered Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), who’s lying face down on the floor. To accentuate his point and disdain for his brother, Xander gives him a kick. Poor Philip grunts in obvious pain.
Bo Nears the End
In Greece, a grief-stricken Ciara (Victoria Konefal) sits vigil by her dying father’s bedside. Meanwhile, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) reports the status of her husband’s deteriorating condition to someone. “They’re giving Bo his last rites,” she reveals, while choking back tears.
But before she lets her husband go, Hope recalls her and Bo’s (Peter Reckell) storied past; specifically, their first wedding in England. “Happy anniversary, Brady… 40 years,” says Hope. Then she tenderly lays her head on Bo’s chest, hoping that a miracle might save him.
John’s Last Stand?
It looks like Philip and Bo aren’t the only Salem men in serious distress. So is the missing John (the late Drake Hogestyn). However, Marlena (Deidre Hall) remains optimistic about her husband’s fate and their future as a couple. “John and I have the rest of our lives together,” she tells Kayla (Mary Beth Evans).
The scene turns to what appears to be a lab. There’s a scuffle inside between a few people. Suddenly, a fire breaks out. As the group rushes to escape the flames, someone cries out, “Where’s John?”
Moments later, Kayla has to deliver tragic news to Marlena. “There’s been an explosion,” she tells her. Marlena reacts with a gasp. “And John?” she asks, bracing herself for the worst.
Unfortunately, the news isn’t good. Apparently, John was caught in the middle of the explosion and the fire. “He’s been hurt pretty badly,” reveals Kayla. Could this be the end of the line for John?
