DOOL Spoilers: Alex Presses Button on Stephanie’s Book – Trouble in Paradise for Salem’s 𝙷𝚘𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚜𝚝 𝚂𝚞𝚙𝚎𝚛 Couple?

Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest there could be trouble in paradise where Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) are concerned.

Could Stephanie’s book be the very thing that tears them apart?

After all, during the Monday, May 19 episode, Alex pitched an idea to relaunch Titan Publishing to Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow), a division she once ran back in the day.

Alex believes Stephanie’s book is a bestseller. He stumbled across it while at her apartment, read it, and was dazzled.

He presented the idea of her publishing the book, and Stephanie was hesitant to say the least.

Considering it’s “tastefully written” smut, she was apprehensive about having the entire world read it, knowing she had crafted it.

With that said, Stephanie agreed to think about the idea; however, Alex decided to move forward and ask Kate to read the book.

During the May 19 show, Alex gave the book to Kate to read and presented an idea to her: if she offered her feedback and if she thought that this would be a bestseller, then there was an opportunity for Titan to relaunch its publishing division, and Kate could head it all up.

Alex didn’t divulge the name of the author, so that was good, but fans can’t help but think disaster is on the horizon.

After all, as the May 19 episode progressed, Alex met up with Stephanie, and her “maybe” on publishing the book through Titan turned into a firm “no”.

Alex tried to reason with his girlfriend; however, her fear was that if the book became successful, book lovers would be on the hunt for the identity of the author, and she’d die of embarrassment if everyone found out it was her.

Plus, her PR business would surely tank. Stephanie wasn’t willing to listen to Alex any further, and it seemed as if the ‘case was closed’ on publishing her book.

\But it is? The very fact that Alex turned to Kate, and presented a business opportunity (without Stephanie’s knowledge) could create a very messy situation.

Especially in light of the fact that Kate has nothing on the go work-wise. With Body and Soul cancelled, the idea of relaunching and heading Titan Publishing may be very enticing for Kate.

It’s easy to see Kate coming back to Alex with a five-star rating on Stephanie’s book. She’ll sing its praises and be ready to dive back into the world of book publishing.

Still, Alex will have to pump the brakes as Stephanie doesn’t want to publish her ‘romance’ novel.

But will Kate take no for an answer when she sees the potential to break book sales and relaunch a profitable business sector for Titan?

Could Kate suggest making minor amendments to the book, to publish it under a new pen name, and avoid legal repercussions?

Kate may push her stance on Alex and decide to take full accountability for this project.

Then again, there’s always the chance that Kate makes changes to the book herself, pitches it to another publisher, and makes a fortune.

Any way you slice it, Alex will refrain from telling Stephanie about how he brought Kate into the loop about her book, and this could bite him in the butt.

If and when it’s published and Stephanie sees her words on pages she didn’t authorize, she’ll be furious with Alex.

These two are definitely Salem’s hottest super couple right now, so could they end up in Splitsville over this, when all is said and done?

Days of Our Lives spoilers remind fans that every romance has to go through its fair share of trials and tribulations, so will this book be the next ‘test’ that Stephanie and Alex endure? Could it be the end of their romance?
