DOOL Spoilers: Final Heartbreaking Details About Drake Hogestyn Revealed Shock DOOL Fans

As the Days of our Lives family and extended family, and its fans continue to grapple with the death and mourn the loss of Drake Hogestyn who died over the weekend at age 70, from his battle with pancreatic cancer, we have some additional heartbreaking news for viewers of the Peacock streaming soap opera.

Michael Fairman TV can confirm from a rep from Days of our Lives that Drake’s final appearance as John Black has already streamed.

While DAYS tapes so far ahead, basically nine months from when episodes are posted on Peacock, fans had hoped that there might be some more episodes of Drake still to come into October, but sadly Drake’s final DAYS episode was back on September 9th.

Looking back, the scenes were all the more poignant. In that episode, John gives some advice to his grandson Tate (Leo Howard) about his girlfriend, Holly (Ashley Puzemis).

Then, Brady (Eric Martsolf) finally came back home following his arrest for being accused of being by the wheel of his car and hitting Sarah (Linsey Godfrey).  In that moment, John hugged Brady very tight.

The scenes showed the three generations of the Black family men together for the last time.

“Jarlena” fans will also be saddened to know that you have seen the final scenes together from the iconic soap couple played by Drake and Deidre Hall.

Those happened back on the September 5th episode when John was choked up after his conversation with his daughter, Belle who told her father that she and his son Paul wish they could be in Salem during this difficult time. Later, Marlena told John that they will get through this together and hugged her beloved husband.
