Days of Our Lives Spoilers Monday, June 16: Steve’s Shock at The Bistro – Jack’s Birthday Gift – Philip’s Wake-Up Call

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, June 16, reveal that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will get a shock at The Bistro, and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will receive a birthday gift. Philip Kiriakis’ (John-Paul Lavoisier) wake-up call is also in store, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on Days.

Although everyone’s still feeling a little glum following John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) farewell, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) is planning something that’ll lift some spirits.

Since Steve has decided to close up Black Patch, Stephanie wants to throw him a retirement party at The Bistro.

Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) is in on the secret and will bring Steve to the restaurant, where he’ll be taken aback over his guests.

Once Steve gets over the shock of walking in on this celebration, he’ll thank Stephanie for organizing it.

Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu), Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves), Jack, Kayla and Stephanie will all be on hand for the fun.

It’s been 40 years since Stephen Nichols made his DOOL debut in the role of Steve Johnson, so that’ll be a big reason why this trip down memory lane is happening.

This will be an anniversary celebration and could pave the way for Steve to change his mind about his Black Patch shutdown, especially since Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) already gave him a nudge to reconsider.

As for Jennifer, she’ll give Jack a huge cupcake and wish him a happy birthday since this will be a special occasion for him, too.

At the hospital, Days spoilers say Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) fatal scheme will get derailed.

Although Xander just grabbed a pillow and prepared to end Philip’s life, that’s not how things will go down.

Xander will face an interruption and do his best to cover his tracks, but Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) will still end up grilling him.

Meanwhile, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) may be alarmed when she realizes the police officer assigned to protect Philip apparently left his post.

Fortunately, Days spoilers say Kate has some good news headed her way since Philip will awaken and have a sweet reunion with his mom.

Philip will still be pretty weak and out of it, but Kate will push him to identify his attacker.

Will Philip point the finger at Xander or could this story swing another way despite Xander’s guilt?

Whatever the case, Xander will remain free for now, but he’ll lurk outside Philip’s room for some spying.
