Days of Our Lives Spoilers Tuesday, August 5: Marlena’s Double Shocker – Gabi Traps Xander – Cat Trains with Rafe

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, August 5, reveal that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will face a double shocker while Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) traps Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) will also undergo some training with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), so here’s what DOOL fans can look forward to.

For starters, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will surprise Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), who may grill him about his time stuck in the elevator with Cat by his side.

Once Julie hears the way Chad’s talking about Cat, she may worry that Chad is falling hard for her.

Meanwhile, Days spoilers say Rafe will put Cat through a training session.

It looks like Cat will get some tips to defend herself – just in case she lands in a dangerous situation where she needs to gain the upper hand.

Later, Cat will try out some of the new techniques she’s learned on Chad, so they’ll end up sharing another close moment as a result.

Other Days spoilers say Gabi will lure Xander into the seduction trap she’s setting.

We’ll see Gabi connect with Xander and reel him in, so that’ll set the stage for their upcoming dinner at The Bistro.

Gabi’s real objective will be digging for dirt, but Xander should be fooled for now and appreciate some support as he continues to navigate this custody situation with Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey).

Over with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), they’ll have a conversation with Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) as they strategize about the trial.

Susan will manage to push Johnny’s buttons, so he may snap at his grandmother and have to apologize since it’ll mostly be due to the stress he’s under.

As for Marlena, she’ll face a double shocker in Tuesday’s Days episode.

One curveball will come when Sarah gives Marlena some disturbing news, so that could be about Marlena’s medical woes or maybe something about Rachel Black’s (Alice Halsey) panic over her testimony instead.

Marlena will also have another encounter with Susan, who may voice additional concerns about the inner turmoil she’s sensing.

Susan feels like there’s trouble in Marlena’s mind, body and soul, so she’ll sound the alarm once more.
