Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) make strides in their relationship, discussing couples therapy. They share an intimate moment during the blackout. But Sarah questions if it’s too soon given their differences. Also, Belle remains firm in her stance with EJ, possibly quoting Taylor Swift about their relationship being over. Her main concern is a significant donation from her father, John Black (Drake Hogestyn), intended for the hospital, which has unfortunately fallen into EJ’s possession.
Chad and Cat face a turning point in their new relationship. Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) provides Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) with an update, potentially related to the blackout. Holly mistakenly believes they slept together. Meanwhile, the dorms are on fire. Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers) confronts Holly about the blaze, which started accidentally after Sophia got her drunk. Questions arise about whether Holly will face university repercussions. Sophia panics, possibly due to the fire and Holly’s state on Days of Our Lives.
