General Hospital Spoilers: Gio Rescues Josslyn After Car Breaks Down – Hero Moment for Dex’s Competition?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) still loves Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), but that doesn’t mean she’s ready to get back together with him – at least not yet.

In fact, when Dex hinted about a possible a reunion in the May 21 episode, Josslyn seemed a bit uncomfortable.

Joss thought Dex deserved to get spoiled after everything he’d been through, so she opened up Bobbie’s early to feed him pancakes and later brought him coffee in the park.

Dex was appreciative, but he also fished to find out whether he could expect to get spoiled on a more permanent basis.

It felt like Dex’s way of testing the waters and seeing if Josslyn was open to reuniting romantically.

Josslyn quickly turned the whole thing into a joke about how her reputation would suffer if she was seen with such a terrible dancer.

Dex and Josslyn’s scenes were still flirty, but Joss obviously wasn’t eager to just throw herself back into Dex’s arms.

That could be important, especially now that Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) has become a new cast addition.

Gio mentioned to Josslyn that fixing cars was a talent that ran in his family, so it probably won’t be long until he puts that talent to good use.

It’s easy to imagine a scenario where Josslyn breaks down on the side of the road and gets some help from Gio as he’s passing by.

This could turn into the perfect opportunity for Gio to come to Josslyn’s rescue and fix her vehicle.

Josslyn met Gio at the wedding, but now she might have a chance to really get to know him and develop more of an attraction – especially after he plays the hero.

The reception gave Gio an opportunity to meet Dex as well, so they bonded over the military since Gio’s father served in Afghanistan.

It’s probably no coincidence that Dex and Gio got so chummy right off the bat.

If GH writers are planning to develop a Gio, Josslyn and Dex love triangle, that may be part of why they put the two guys who’ll be competing for her in each other’s orbit.

Regardless, Gio may end up fixing Josslyn’s car and earning her gratitude, so stick with us for updates on whether that’ll mean bad news for Dex!
