General Hospital Friday, April 11 Recap: Alexis’ Mental Institution Solution For Kristina – Carly Slams Willow With Nelle Accusations

General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, April 11, reveals that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was forced to consider a mental institution solution to save Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi). Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) also said Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) was just like Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), so here’s how it all went down.

After Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) voiced concerns about the Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) and esplanade drama, he talked to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) about Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) next.

Although Curtis was worried about Drew’s agenda, Portia insisted she thought the surgery was a good option for Kai. Curtis was glad to hear that since he assumed Portia could offer an objective opinion and didn’t owe Drew anything.

Meanwhile, Kai told Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) that he’d decided to move ahead with the cutting-edge procedure. Trina remained wary, but she tried her best to show her support before she took off.

Back with Portia, she ordered Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) to dig into all Drew’s medical files, screenings and test results – even going back to his days as Jake Doe.

Portia felt she would know what she was looking for when she saw it and made it clear that Brad would be fired if he didn’t cooperate.

Later, Trina tracked down Portia to reveal that Kai had decided to have the surgery without getting updates on the doc’s research.

Curtis also bumped into Kai, who admitted he was moving forward with the procedure. That brought Curtis’ warning since he felt Kai should be careful when it came to Drew.

At Drew’s house, Carly took jabs about Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) not being Willow’s biological child and ranted about the cheater destroying the family Michael Corinthos (last played by Chad Duell) trusted her with.

Although Carly was appalled over Willow shacking up with Michael’s uncle, Willow refused to apologize for falling in love with Drew. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) got the kids settled with a movie before joining the confrontation and hearing about Willow’s love declaration.

Once Nina saw that things were spiraling out of control, she texted an SOS to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) for Carly help.

Next on Friday’s GH episode, Drew snapped at Carly and acted like Michael needed to get better so he could come fight his own battles instead of letting his mommy do it for him.

Carly eventually said Willow was just like Nelle before implying she was worse since Nelle actually loved Michael. After Willow called Carly out on her fake altruistic mom act, Carly fumed and prepared to slap her.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Jason made a pitch for Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) to keep living there instead of moving out as planned.

When Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) showed off his failed effort to make cake pops for Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante), Sasha offered to oversee his next attempt.

Jason ultimately saw Nina’s 911 text about Carly, so he headed to Drew’s house and stopped Carly before she could slap Willow.

Once Carly blasted Willow for being a master manipulator, she vowed to protect the children and make sure Willow never saw them again. Jason forced Carly out of the house moments later and scolded her for how she handled things.

At Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) place, she confronted Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) about all her lies. Thanks to her WSB connections, Anna was able to unseal the records and get the truth about what happened despite the NDA.

Emma came clean about breaking in the lab to rescue the animals that the university was testing. Things got out of hand when Emma and her friends were confronted by security.

Emma wound up accidentally assaulting a security guard with a crowbar in the chaos of it all. Thankfully, the university wanted to bury everything, so they used the party as part of the expulsion cover story.

Emma didn’t want to disappoint Anna, who just wanted her granddaughter to be safer and smarter about how she handled things from now on.

In the park, Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) told Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to get closer to Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) in her new environmental physics class and ultimately become his research assistant.

At the law office, Alexis got Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) to sign some papers to officially become her lawyer. Once everything was squared away legally, Alexis admitted that Kristina caused Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) crash.

It happened because Kristina thought she was cutting the brakes on Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) car, so Alexis spilled that news, too. Diane felt that the truth would come out – and when it did, Kristina would be looking at serious prison time.

Instead, Diane suggested the best thing to do was have Kristina committed. Alexis couldn’t do that to her own daughter and argued Kristina would never agree to it, but Diane said she could have her involuntarily committed instead.

Diane made a prediction about this setting up a legal defense for Kristina and helping Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) forgive her in the end, too. Despite Alexis’ reservations, she eventually saw that drastic action was necessary and told Diane to draw up the papers.

General Hospital spoilers say Kristina will face a shocking betrayal soon enough, so stay tuned! CDL will have other exciting General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so stop by regularly for more GH details.
