General Hospital Spoilers Friday, May 16: Sonny Moves On Carly’s Custody Battle With Willow

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, May 16, reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will fear Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is making a mistake while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) predicts disaster. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will also discuss some collateral damage, so here’s what GH fans can expect.

As Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) continues her conversation with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), she’ll insist that Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) mother is the key.

Now that Cody has teamed up with Lulu, he’ll support her search for info about Camilla and the story of Gio’s birth.

It’ll take a little more work, but Lulu should be on the verge of proving Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) brought Gio into the world instead.

As for Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), she’ll give Brook Lynn some reassurance on Friday’s GH episode.

Tracy won’t want Brook Lynn to worry about her buried secret coming out, but neither of them will realize just how much things are about to blow up!

In the meantime, Gio will tell Brook Lynn that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has no use for him.

After Gio declares that he’s good with that, he’ll accept that Dante made his true feelings known and act like there’s no going back.

At the hospital, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will meet with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and get updates on her latest round of Drew blackmail drama.

It’ll leave Ava pushing Portia to change tactics as she offers some guidance.

Next, Nina will share bad news with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) now that custody chaos is threatening to erupt.

Once Nina fills Curtis in on Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) being served with legal papers, she’ll also fret over Drew’s plan to make Michael Corinthos (last played by Chad Duell) seem like an absentee father in court.

Nina will think this whole situation is going to be disastrous, so Curtis may offer some advice.

Elsewhere, Drew will tell Tracy that Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has to be collateral damage.

Tracy won’t approve of all the details, but her commitment to pushing Sonny out of Port Charles may win out over everything else.

Across town, Carly will talk to Sonny about how she intends to fight for the kids on Michael’s behalf in court.

After Carly vows to handle Michael’s custody battle herself, Sonny will warn that it’s a mistake.

That’s why Sonny will take matters into his own hands on Friday’s show.

It won’t be long until Sonny tracks down Willow for a conversation and perhaps tries to find a more peaceful solution for all of them.

Elsewhere, Nina will have a huge favor to ask Carly.

Will Nina plead with Carly to drop her custody pursuit and at least wait until Michael’s recovered before moving forward with court proceedings?

Regardless, the fact that Carly knows about Nina’s role in Drew’s night of drugged debauchery could be a problem!
