General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) could have an amnesia twist ahead. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) may be tasked with figuring out if her daughter is truly back from the dead, so let’s discuss what’s in store.

Kelly Thiebaud is gearing up for an explosive comeback story that’s going to bring plenty of excitement to the canvas.

Thiebaud will make her on-air return before the month of July concludes, so it won’t be long until her character shakes things up.

Of course, the show has been staying tight-lipped about whether Thiebaud is playing Britt or someone else.

There are surely some good reasons for all the secrecy, so let’s talk about those for a moment.

For starters, Britt was given a fatal exit after getting nicked by Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) poisoned hook.

If Britt is still alive, there’s going to be a pretty wild explanation.

There have been rumblings about a storyline involving clones, especially since everything’s so hush-hush when it comes to whatever Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) is hiding in his research lab.

Regardless, GH fans may wind up with more questions about whether this woman is Britt, a clone or some other type of lookalike.

Even Thiebaud’s character may not be so sure if an amnesia twist is in the works.

If this is Britt, perhaps her memory has been wiped or fried as part of whatever shady experiments she’s undergone.

Britt may not remember who she is or anything about her former life in Port Charles – at least at first.

Jason has already been talking about how much Britt had changed by the time she died.

If Britt can’t recall her past crimes and schemes, that could add to the whole clean slate idea.

In other words, Britt might be horrified when she gets updates on her history, especially all the stolen embryo chaos involving Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).

On the other hand, we could be dealing with a clone who genuinely doesn’t remember Britt’s life.

Maybe this clone was meant to be memory-mapped and hasn’t undergone the procedure yet.

Whatever the case, an amnesia twist could add to the drama and lead to Liesl putting Thiebaud’s character to the test.

Obrecht knew Britt better than anyone else, so she should hopefully be able to tell if this is truly her daughter!
