General Hospital Preview Week of July 28: Willow Shocks Drew – Jason Proves Britt’s Alive
General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of July 28-August 1 reveal that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will shock Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), while Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will prove Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is still alive.
The ABC soap dropped its weekly preview, and fans need to brace for some massive drama over the next five days.
The promo picks up where the Friday, July 25 episode left off, and it looks like chaos is about to hit the fan at the Willow-Drew wedding.
The preview opens with Willow at the altar, as her and Drew’s hands are intertwined.
Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), the official wedding officiant, can be heard on the voiceover saying, “Speak now or forever hold your peace.”
As the words come out of Lucy’s mouth, clips of Ava Jerome (Maura West) looking uncertain flash on the screen, followed by an emotional Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Kati) by her side, and then a close-up of Drew, smiling.
As the promo progresses, the camera zooms in on Willow and Drew’s hands locked in, and then the bride pulls away.
A close-up of Willow’s face is shown, and she’s looking mighty vengeful. Does Willow back out of the wedding before she says her “I do’s”?
Will she shock Drew by exposing him, or will she shock Nina by going through with the wedding?
Meanwhile, the next storyline focus of the GH preview for the week of July 28 is Britt Westbourne.
A voiceover of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) can be heard, as she asks, “Do you think Britt staged her own death?”
Meanwhile, a website called “Spyder-Finder” is shown on the screen, as someone’s plugging information in on their phone; however, it’s unclear exactly what they are searching for.
The promo seems to imply that someone will be searching for something on the dark web, but it’s hard to say exactly what this is about, and if Jason is the one “searching” on this site.
Speaking of, a clip of Jason looking pensive is shown next during the promo, and a scene of Britt, lying on a couch with a laptop on her legs, is then shown, as Jason can be heard on the voiceover saying, “Britt’s still alive, I just have to be sure.”
Britt’s looking at something on her laptop, smiling, while also wearing a “Five Poppies” t-shirt (the same logo that was on the bag she was carrying at the airport).
Her smile fades when she hears a knock at the door.
General Hospital spoilers for the week of July 28-August 1 imply that if Jason is on the case, it won’t be long before Britt returns to Port Charles and reunites with family and friends, but why has she staged her own death, and what has kept her away from loved ones for so long?
