General Hospital Tuesday, August 5 Update: Sonny’s Tricks Won’t Work – Jason’s Confession
General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 5, reveals that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may find that his tricks won’t work after Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) makes a confession. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will also plan to do some damage control and will get some support from a familiar face, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
For starters, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) will have a meeting with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), who’ll get updates on Michael’s theory regarding Daisy Gilmore (Brenden and Evelyn Beimford).
Will Michael still believe this is connected to Sonny and all his mob drama?
Will Michael accuse Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) of trying to send a message to Sonny and using an innocent baby to do it?
GH fans know Willow is the one who messed with Daisy and rattled Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) enough to make her leave town.
However, Willow will be committed to keeping that shocker quiet and repairing her destroyed life.
Once Willow sits down for a conversation with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), he’ll give her some comfort and guidance.
Chase should go a step further than that by standing up to Michael in the coming episodes, so Willow may like the idea of her former flame being her hero again.
In the meantime, Jason will throw Sonny for a loop when he reveals why he believes Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) survived.
Sonny will hear all the evidence and weigh in when Jason insists on digging for more Britt news.
Other GH spoilers say Sidwell will play up the danger of Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) losing Deception.
As Sidwell tries to manipulate Tracy into doing what he wants, he’ll make it clear that her company is far from safe.
Back with Sonny, he’ll have an interesting encounter with ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Turner).
Justine will talk about being prepared for all Sonny’s tricks, so that may go for both the softball games they’re participating in and her efforts to put Sonny behind bars.
Of course, the longer this storyline goes on, the more complicated Justine’s feelings will become.
There’s already a hint of a spark between them, so look for Sonny to pull Justine closer with his charm soon enough.
As for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), they’ll clash over Sonny again.
Lucas will suspect that Carly’s reasons for ripping into him are more about refusing to admit she was wrong about Sonny than anything else.
On another note, kidnapped Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will be taken to Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) office before long.
Anna will realize this abduction was Brennan’s drastic move to protect Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) cover and keep Carly in the dark.
General Hospital spoilers say Anna will put Brennan on full blast and dish out some warnings, so stay tuned.
