General Hospital Spoilers: Gio And Emma Finally Declare Their Love!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) hasn’t had an easy time of it in recent months. First, he became embroiled in the war between Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) over the money Sonny had been providing Gio for his education.

But that was nothing compared to the shock of finding out that he was actually the biological son of Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).

Gio Palmiera didn’t know he was adopted

Up until that moment, Gio had no idea that he was adopted. He was raised by a member of Brook Lynn’s family as her own until she unfortunately passed away when Gio was only ten years old.

This stunning revelation has caused Gio to rethink his entire life and so far, he was no intention of getting to know either Dante or Brook Lynn, or any of their extended families with the exception of Sonny with whom he still remains close.

Emma Drake returned to Port Charles with an agenda!

Meanwhile across town, Emma Drake (Braedyn Bruner) returned to Port Charles much to the delight of her grandmother Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). But Emma has an ulterior motive to returning to Port Charles and enlisting at Port Charles University.

She followed Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) to the university in the hopes of proving that the college professor is illegally testing on animals as part of his mysterious research.

She’s very passionate about exposing Dalton and has a genuine love of animals.

Gio Palmieri and Emma Drake are falling in love!

Gio met Emma not long after she returned to town. She’s been instrumental in helping Gio navigate all of the confusing family issues he’s been experiencing.

She even offered to let Gio stay with her and Anna since he no longer felt comfortable at the Quartermaine house.

For his part, Gio has offered to break into Dalton’s lab alone in order to keep Emma out of trouble. Even as they are about to face danger together, look for them to admit they have feeling for each other.

They could even declare their love while undertaking their dangerous mission.
