General Hospital Spoilers: Chase Torn Between Willow and the Qs – Trouble for Brook Lynn Ahead?
General Hospital spoilers claim Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is careening toward finding himself in a very precarious position.
He was fairly certain that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was getting the short end of the stick in her custody battle with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).
Now, he might become even more certain of that as she insists to him that she didn’t shoot Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and believes she is being set up by Michael.
Knowing Chase, he’s going to suspect she may be right, because Michael’s behavior is a bit off the mark.
After all, he just showed up at Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) place out of the blue when Willow was not there. He was alone in the townhome waiting for her arrival.
Also, he suddenly offered her visitation with the kids, and somehow he even scheduled it just as the police had come into possession of the gun at Elizabeth’s place — stashed in the room where Willow had been staying.
How is Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) going to feel about Chase advocating for Willow against her family?
Foreplay, or Foreshadowing?
On Monday, we saw Brook Lynn and Chase embrace one another — differences and all.
She was certain to point out to him that Willow wasn’t his responsibility anymore, but she did it in a loving way.
There is no sign that Brook Lynn is at all jealous of Willow or feels any bit of insecurity about her husband still caring about his ex-wife.
That being said, Chase acknowledged she was right, and he thanked her for being so cool about it, in so many words.
Fast-forward to now and it’s looking like Chase and Brook Lynn could end up on opposite sides of the fence.
Will Chase take Willow’s side and believe her that Michael set her up — even if his wifey is on the side of her cousin?
GH Spoilers Boast Brook Lynn and Chase are Overdue for Drama
While some fans seem to adore this couple, others are saying it’s getting a bit stale for their taste. The fanbase loved seeing Chase and Brook Lynn fall in love on the heels of pretending to be parents to Bailey Lou Jones (Miley and Riley Plonski).
But we wanted to see them carry on into their own marriage and have babies, too.
The news that Chase is sterile came as quite a blow, further complicated by Brook Lynn’s desire to table all conversation of having kids until she could mend things with Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza). Chase has been more than understanding, but this may be the point where they diverge on family.
Is This the Beginning of the End, or a New Beginning Entirely?
Chase has been in Willow’s corner for a minute now, though not quite as publicly as he could end up if he expresses any support for Willow’s theory.
We can bet that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be right by Willow’s side — wanted or not — fueling the idea that Michael is behind all of this.
That could cause further tension as a new war wages between mother and daughter, and now Michael and his family.
Chase may have to draw a hard line on which team he’s on, and it could leave his new marriage rather unsettled if he chooses Team Ex-Wife. Could this spell trouble for him and Brook Lynn, and might it possibly spark a reboot for him and Willow?
