General Hospital Preview Spoilers: Martin’s Mysterious Co-conspirator – Is Ronnie Just a Pawn in His Game?

General Hospital (GH) preview spoilers for the week of October 27-31 seem to hint that Martin Grey may have a mysterious co-conspirator when it comes to the fake Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) will debacle, but is it Veronica “Ronnie” Bard (Erika Slezak), or is she just a pawn in his game?

There’s a lot to unpack when it comes to this storyline, so let’s start at the beginning.

Ronnie Makes a Shocking Declaration! [Spoilers] - Daytime Confidential

There’s been something very off about Ronnie appearing out of nowhere shortly after Monica’s passing.

While Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) knew of Monica’s long-lost sister, her beloved sister-in-law hadn’t mentioned Ronnie in the years leading up to her demise.

The very fact that Ronnie ended up inheriting the Quartermaine mansion, when Tracy, along with all the others, believed Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) would score the Q family home, seems more than suspicious to Tracy.

However, she’s been the only Quartermaine who has jumped to this conclusion.

Weeks before Monica passed away, Martin had an odd encounter in the Q mansion where he stumbled upon some letters.

It almost appeared as if he had a light bulb moment, so when Ronnie arrived and Monica’s will claimed that she was the one who inherited the house, many GH fans believed that Martin was somehow behind all this.

With that said, is Ronnie in on Martin’s scheme or simply unknowingly being used?

There’s a chance that Martin was the one to write Ronnie letters on behalf of Monica and was the one who organized the fake will, without Ronnie knowing.

Still, as there have been some hints that Ronnie isn’t as squeaky clean as she’s pretending to be, there’s also a chance that Ronnie is in on all this and knows exactly what she’s doing.

GH fans may recall that Ronnie left Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) that extravagant tip when he served her at Bobbie’s.

Meanwhile, after Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) did some digging in Ronnie’s past, she mentioned that the woman was a waitress who lived a very humble life. Where would a waitress get that kind of money to leave a $50 tip? Plus, that big tip seemed very “out of character” for the person Lulu described.

Maybe Ronnie isn’t really Ronnie, and Martin hired her to pretend to be Monica’s sister. Then again, maybe Ronnie is Ronnie – a professional con – which is why everything Lulu dug up on her came out so squeaky clean!

It would also explain why Monica kept her distance from Ronnie all these years.

The General Hospital preview for the week of October 27-31 also provides some interesting insight into what could unfold this week. The promo opens with Martin saying, “They are never going to figure out that we’re working together.”

As the video progresses, there is a clip of a woman’s hand slipping a cheque back to a man at the Metro Court, too.

As the hand seems to be from a younger woman, there’s a chance that Martin is working with someone unknown to viewers or a character already established on canvas.

Then again, this scene could be completely unrelated to this storyline, as these previews love to swerve fans!

As the GH promo progresses, an outraged Ronnie declares that Tracy wasn’t the one to slip the mickey in her drink, and she accuses someone unknown.

Will she accuse Martin? Is this part of their scheme or will she point the finger to him or someone else as part of their “plan”?

Ronnie’s days are numbered in the land of Port Charles, as Erika Slezak finished filming a while ago, and has stated her character’s run on the show was a short one.

As such, General Hospital spoilers remind fans that this storyline is wrapping up, so it won’t be long until viewers, and Tracy, finally get to the bottom of what really brought Ronnie to town, and who Monica truly willed the Q home to.
