General Hospital Spoilers: A New Mission Looms for Portia and Curtis

Adventure Time?

Lately, Portia (Brook Kerr) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) have been living a low-key Port Charles life. They’ve been going about their usual business. Portia has a lot of responsibility to take care of as Co-Chief of Staff of GH. Meanwhile, Curtis has brokered a deal with Drew (Cameron Mathison). The Savoy owner may now become an actual influencer in the health and wellness biz.

So why do teasers suggest that Curtis and Portia are about to take on a new mission? Does this endeavor relate to Curtis’s new business venture? What if this is a completely new pursuit? More importantly, will this mission inject some much-needed excitement into their lives?

Angry and Dismayed

Elsewhere, Sonny (Maurice Benard) is again in direct conflict with Jason (Steve Burton). A decision his former right-hand man makes angers him like nobody’s business. Does Sonny get triggered because this decision gives off controlling vibes? Because Sonny doesn’t like to be coddled, controlled, or unnecessarily protected. Also, don’t talk to him the wrong way. He doesn’t like that either.

Like Sonny, Laura (Genie Francis — who recently celebrated a birthday) is feeling negative emotions. Expect her to be dismayed. What’s causing her distress this time? Are people expressing discontent over her overly empathetic approach to Heather (Alley Mills)? If it doesn’t have to do with Heather, what’s bothering the Mayor of Port Charles? Oh. Wouldn’t it be great if Portia and Curtis made it their mission to stop Laura from attempting to free Heather or make things easier for the psychopath in any way?

Offering Up Suspicions and Reassurances

Let’s check in with Agent John Cates (Adam J. Harrington). After all, it’s been a while. What’s going on with him? Apparently, he’s growing more suspicious by the minute. Who is the subject of his suspicious tendencies? There’s a long list of options in town, making his job much harder. The problem is that PC’s residents are just as suspicious about his motives, which is why he’s getting nowhere with taking down Pikeman.

Finally, a grieving Chase (Josh Swickard) is bending over backward to be everything to everyone. He’s the executor of his dad’s will, and he wants to make sure things are as easy as possible for his struggling brother. So, who is Chase offering reassurance to?
