In Hillsboro, Oregon, Matt, 61, owns and operates Roloff Farms, a 143-acre farm noted for its renowned pumpkin season. The Oregon Secretary of State’s office has officially liquidated Roloff Farms Incorporated, according to the U.S. Sun in an exclusive report.

Due to Matt’s failure to submit an annual report for the 2023 year, the company’s president and secretary’s license was automatically revoked on April 13. The annual report was due in February; therefore, the company name is now legally classified as being dormant.

The company offers farming and pumpkin season entertainment, according to its description. The Oregon Secretary of State asserts that it is crucial for businesses to have a current business name.

According to the website, registering a business name lets the public and other companies know who is operating under that name. According to the law, anyone conducting business in Oregon under an assumed name must file a public record of that fact with the corporation division of the Oregon Secretary of State.

By registering the name, the owner declares their intent to use it for business purposes. It helps business owners build their reputation among other companies and provides the public with contact information for legal actions.

Similar to when you form a corporation or limited liability firm, you must file the necessary organization documents with us.

According to the website, those who do business under an unregistered assumed business name might not have the legal capacity to bring or defend legal claims. They might also have trouble conducting business, such as obtaining permits, opening bank accounts, and signing contracts.

An inquiry for comment from the U.S. Sun was not answered by a Roloff Farms representative. The Oregon Secretariat of State terminated Matt’s business license for his production company, R6 Productions Incorporated, in October 2022 as a result of Matt failing to submit an annual report, according to a prior story from the U.S.

Sun. In 2006, Matt and his 60-year-old ex-wife Amy founded the production company, R6 Productions Incorporated. Little People, Big World on TLC is not produced by the corporation.

Despite the lack of activity, Matt declared that pumpkin season would resume in 2023. Recently, Matt disclosed that he and his son Jacob are constructing a new house on Roloff Farms after planning it for five years.

The new house, where he’ll probably live with Karen, whom he proposed to earlier this month, was previously described in detail by the U.S. Sun. The residential house was given a building permit by the Washington County Court in Oregon on February 15, 2023.

Three bedrooms and three bathrooms will be present in the house. The house will also have a deck, covered porch, and attached garage. Since he shared the main house with his then-wife Amy, to whom he had been married for 27 years, Matt’s fiancée refused to reside there. They brought up their four kids there as well.

The Little People, Big World actor and his twin sons Jeremy and Zach, both 32, have been engaged in a bitter argument since they were unable to reach a financial settlement on the sale of the farm. Matt turned down proposals for the land from his sons.

Zach has discussed the split between the two on the show that was caused by the rejection. He said the whole situation was bizarre. He starts making excuses: the north side is the 30 acres my mom and dad shared.

All of a sudden, my wife and I cannot manage the property, whether we lack the financial resources or the necessary skill set. As a result of the fight, Zach decided to step back from his responsibilities at the farm, severely dividing the family.

The couple, Zach and Tori, made the decision to relocate from their house in Oregon to their new one-million-dollar residence in Battle Ground, Washington.
