It’s Over | Heartbroken Details😭! Matt Roloff | Zach Roloff Drops Bombshell
Zach Roloff Opens Up About Relationship with Dad Matt and LPBW Exit
Zach Roloff has recently spoken out about his strained relationship with his father, Matt Roloff, and their departure from Little People, Big World.
For several seasons, the show chronicled the growing tension between the two, particularly around the sale of the Roloff family farm.
Zach and his wife, Tori, tried to buy the property, but Matt’s firm stance on the price created conflict, leading to a breakdown in the father-son relationship.
Once close, especially while working together on the family’s pumpkin patch, Zach and Matt’s bond weakened after Matt chose to sell part of the farm following his divorce from Amy Roloff.
Zach and Tori eventually pulled out of the deal, and their relationship with Matt suffered.
In early 2024, Zach and Tori launched their podcast, Raising Heights, where they’ve opened up about parenting, marriage, and the fallout from the show.
Zach revealed his relationship with Matt is currently “nonexistent” and described their post-show break as a time for reflection.
However, when the show aired nearly a year later, it reopened old wounds. Zach even referred to Matt’s lack of accountability as “narcissism.”
Tori often supports Zach’s decision to set boundaries. She believes Zach has done everything he can to maintain family ties but tends to be too forgiving.
While she’s sometimes blamed for fueling the conflict, Tori feels she needs to encourage Zach to protect his well-being.
The couple recently addressed rumors that they are keeping their children away from Zach’s parents, especially Matt. Zach firmly denied this, stating on the podcast that those claims are false.
Despite his rocky relationship with his father, Zach said he is not blocking Matt from seeing his grandkids—they’re just focusing on raising their kids the best way they can.
Season 25 of Little People, Big World seems to mark the end of the Roloffs’ reality TV journey, as Zach and Tori confirmed they’re stepping away from the series.
The final season covered the aftermath of the family feud and the continuing estrangement between Matt and Zach.
Although Zach doesn’t expect to reconcile anytime soon, he acknowledged that healing might come in the future—once they’re no longer rehashing old arguments for TV.
While the future of Little People, Big World is uncertain, Zach and Tori are committed to sharing their lives through their podcast rather than the spotlight of reality television. For now, they’re choosing peace, privacy, and parenting over drama.
