Exploring the Dream House
We are on a journey to find our dream home. Our current house is in a good neighborhood, but we want a more spacious place, around an acre, with a master bedroom on the main floor and a three-car garage.
Today, we are viewing a much larger house than we expected, at 10,000 ft², with the potential to host special events like weddings.
Although the house exceeds our budget and is bigger than we need, it offers income potential from events.
This will be the first time we make a major decision together, which is both an exciting and challenging experience.
The house was built in the 70s but has undergone many renovations, and we could move in immediately. The interior is spacious, with a large kitchen that needs to be redone.
We also consider the maintenance of the house. The large yard with beautiful landscaping requires a lot of upkeep. If we can hire someone to maintain it, the house could be an ideal place for retirement and a small business.
While the house is very appealing and full of potential, we need to carefully consider before making a final decision.
We will continue to search and evaluate all aspects to ensure that the new house is not only a place to live but also a reasonable investment for our future.
Amy and I are going for a bike ride to explore a waterfall near the fish hatchery, about 40 minutes from home.
This is a place Chris wanted to show me, and although I don’t remember it well, I’m excited. Chris always loves new experiences, whether they’re simple or grand adventures, and I think that makes life more interesting.
Recently, I met with Matt and Caryn. They were supposed to be setting trusses on Matt’s house but got delayed. I congratulated them on their engagement.
Chris isn’t involved in Matt and Caryn’s events, and we didn’t invite them to our wedding to avoid awkwardness for the kids. I think it would be nice if they had a small wedding or a simple ceremony.
Chris and I are planning a fundraising event for the Little People Athletic Association. We’re aiming for June 24. Amy is very proactive in organizing, and I’ll be supporting her.
I hope the event will be successful, even though I know there will be a lot of pressure and stress. But with Chris’s support and a clear plan, I’m confident everything will be fine.
“Will you remember me?” “I’ll remember you, Jay. You need to keep the house running while I’m away. Make sure Dad does what he needs to do and remember not to watch TV. Love you, Tori.”
Tori left yesterday morning, and the first day went smoothly. However, taking care of the kids is quite a challenge. This morning, we have a tight schedule: Jackson needs to be at school by 8 AM, and we have to leave the house in 45 minutes.
I need to feed the kids, prepare Jackson’s lunch, do his hair since it’s picture day, and then get the kids into the car.
We’re looking for a new sofa for the store, and I predict shopping will be quick since I’m a fast shopper. Jackson and Lyla often argue and push each other, but I’ll try to keep things calm.
I forgot to put Tori’s notes in Jackson’s lunchbox. That was important to her, and I feel bad for forgetting. Now, we’re preparing for a bowling trip to change things up, even though there have been some recent health issues.
We all hope things will get better in the future and that things will stabilize as we continue building the new house.
They had to replace the whole thing. They had to replace the shunt, the valve, and the catheter. The risk of removing the old catheter is high, with scarring and bleeding, so they just left it there.
How are you feeling? Good, good. Out of here. This whole experience was scary and chaotic. We were lucky my mom could come up to take care of the kids.
Part of me wanted to be there too since he’s my boy, even though he’s almost 33.
I’ve been through this before when he was younger.Same place as always.I know it’s tough.
I got my shunt when I was 16 months old, and nothing really happened until middle school. How painful is it?
Okay, go back to the couch. We’re going to take you in where, inside the stomach.I was definitely exhausted.Chris held down the fort at home and took care of Daisy.
Now that I’m back, Amy is also jealous because she curls up next to me.
Felix never did that, he was always by my side. I don’t have a green thumb.Good morning, hun. My attempt to continue believing I have a green thumb.Do you need more pots?
We have some in the shed, but I’m not planting many flowers. We planned to talk to Brad at Scotch Church about contributing to the fundraiser. We’re hosting a fundraiser for the Dwarf Athletic Association of America and want to ask for a gift basket for the silent auction.
I also looked into whether we could do weddings at the property. It seems that starting a vineyard or cidery is essential to hosting big gatherings.
But maintaining the property will be expensive if we can’t generate income right away.Unfortunately, the information I got is deflating.
