Sister Wives: Meri Brown Endured Kody’s Neglect For Many Years
Janelle has had issues with Kody when he began to neglect his children with her. It even came to a point where their late son, Garrison, said that they don’t need a father figure anymore, adding that Robyn can have him all she wants. Janelle ultimately decided to leave Kody in 2022.
But unlike Janelle, Meri had to endure being mistreated by Kody for years, hoping that they’d get back to what they used to be.
Sadly, it never happened, and many Sister Wives fans think Meri had wasted so much time thinking that Kody would love her back. Meri left Kody in the latest season.
He helped her pack her things as she relocated to Utah. But there’s one more memory that Kody has left to Janelle and Meri, and it’s none other than his last name.

Meri’s maiden name is Barber. But she previously stated that she has no plans to change her last name unless she gets married again. Janelle previously appeared in a podcast where she opened up about the topic. Janelle revealed that she still plans on using Kody’s last name due to her kids.
But she no longer has any plans to remarry. It’s also undeniable that Meri and Janelle are popularly known for their last names, and it would make it difficult for them to adjust, especially with how big their social media has become.

. In one of the previews, Janelle threw shade at Kody after he expressed his desire to make his marriages the same as Robyn’s, confirming that he treats her higher than the others.
Janelle said it would’ve been nice if they communicated well. Meanwhile, Meri went furious after learning that they were all supposed to be Robyn just to be loved by Kody.
