Christine has recently looked back at her marriage to Kody and shared the impact his marriage to Robyn had on her. As shared by People, Christine gave some insight into her marriage with Sukanya “Suki” Krishnan during the upcoming June 8th installment of Sister Wives: One on One.

The TLC star admitted that there was a time when things were good between her and Kody. She shared, “For a long time, it was just fun and it was just a blast. You know, we just had a lot of good times.”

Christine Noted Becoming ‘Independent’ At One Point

However, Kody’s 2014 marriage to Robyn marked the point things wouldn’t stay the same. Christine admitted, “When he married Robyn, that’s where I was like, ‘Oh, there definitely is something missing here.’ But at that point… it was already so almost over anyway.”

Christine said, “It wasn’t a real true intimacy.” She also felt she wasn’t taken care of “emotionally, romantically, physically, [or] financially” during her marriage to Kody. She added, “I was independent at that point.”

Admitting that she was “taken care” of physically at the start of the marriage, Christine felt that sex soon became “just an act.” She added, “No real emotion behind it or anything.”

Christine was then asked how these changes made her feel. She admitted, “It just feels different. Well, ‘used’ is a word, but maybe he felt used too Like maybe we would just use each other. It didn’t mean anything.”

This Wasn’t The Only Time Christine Talked About Her & Kody’s Lack Of Intimacy

Christine also shared she felt that she and Kody became “apathetic” as years went by. She noted, “Maybe like I guess [we] kinda have to. Maybe there was just a need, just a physical need that was met.”

Christine also agreed with a comment from Krishnan that sex became “a marital obligation” for her and Kody. As the TLC star added, “It was just so broken.”

However, Christine felt that she and Kody didn’t want to talk about these issues in the open. She shared, “We both knew there was something lacking and something missing. And when you have sex five times in a year, you realize there’s a problem, and it’s like, do we really want to talk about it?”

Christine added, “So we had one conversation on intimacy, and it was like, are we going to have any kind of intimacy, sex in our marriage? And he was like, no.” She continued, “So the next time you come over, I’m like, you’re done. You’re not staying here anymore. I don’t want you in my bed. We’re done.”

Christine also recently appeared on the podcast, “Juicy Scoop with Heather McDonald,” where she discussed her marriage to Kody. At the time she shared, “There’s sex and then there’s intimacy. What we didn’t have was intimacy. The intimacy itself had been gone for years.”
