The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Kelly’s Bedtime Story Derailed

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Monday, April 21, reveals that Kelly Spencer’s (Sophia Paras) bedtime story was derailed by Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) blurry vision while Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) questioned Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) about Liam’s condition.

At the cliff house, Steffy took some pics of Liam and Kelly as they made silly faces.

Since Steffy was struggling to hide her tears, Kelly eventually asked why her mommy was crying.

Steffy just acted like she was emotional over the special night Liam and Kelly were having.

After Kelly talked about how great their private daddy-daughter dance was, she hugged Liam and said she never wanted to let him go. Liam hugged Kelly back and insisted he didn’t want to let her go either.

During all the fun, Liam had moments of dizziness and grew tired.

Although Kelly wanted to dance to another song, Steffy gave her daughter a nudge to get ready for bed.

At the hospital, Finn was upset over Liam’s medical team just now discovering the inoperable mass.

Dr. Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) and Dr. Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) explained that they were focused on the brain bleed.

Since Liam shouldn’t be driving and needed to get back to the hospital ASAP, Finn was relieved to get a text from Steffy about his location.

After Finn headed home, Grace and Bridget discussed Liam’s terminal condition.

Bridget found herself wondering how Liam would ever say goodbye to his daughters.
When Finn returned to the cliff house, Kelly told him all about her private dance party with Liam.

Finn found out that Liam got super tired during the festivities, but Liam insisted he was good now.

Since Kelly wanted more nights like this one, Liam made a prediction about having a lifetime of doing it again.

At one point, Finn pulled Liam aside to praise him over what an incredible father he was.

Kelly wanted Liam to tuck her in, so he headed to the bedroom with her and agreed to read her a story.

After another bout of dizziness, Liam’s vision became blurry as he tried to read to Kelly, who picked up on the fact that something was wrong and quizzed her dad.

Back with Steffy, she struggled to understand Liam’s condition since he seemed fine before the incident at the Spencer mansion.

Finn explained that the tumor may have been growing for months or years without them knowing about it.

Finn also said Liam should return to the hospital since he wasn’t actually discharged. Steffy wanted a cure for Liam, but Finn maintained that the mass was inoperable and confirmed Liam was dying.

At Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) place on Monday’s B&B episode, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) continued their conversation about Steffy and Liam putting in the work as co-parents.

Since Liam didn’t live with his girls full-time, Ridge knew that must be tough for him.
