Liam is hoping that before he goes, he can find a way to put Steffy and Hope on good terms.
Although Liam doesn’t know it yet, he’s already helped Hope and Steffy take a step in the right direction.

1) Steffy and Hope’s issues go far beyond Liam

That’s why we doubt that if Liam genuinely faces a grim fate, Hope and Steffy will be able to stay friendly.
Steffy and Hope will inevitably find more sources of conflict – just like they’ve done many times over the years.
2) The peace has never lasted before
History is also a good indicator that Hope and Steffy’s truce won’t stick. Steffy and Hope have tried to make peace before, but it certainly didn’t last.
It’s tough to believe it’ll last this time either!
Hope and Steffy will come together during Liam’s medical ordeal, but that surely won’t be enough to keep them on positive terms indefinitely.
