The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Finn and Liam Embrace – Daphne Leaves for Paris

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Monday, May 26, reveals that Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) left for Paris while Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) reeled over Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) engagement ring.

At the loft, Hope and Carter reflected on how happy they were to be back together.

After Carter assured Hope that he’d never let her down again, he got her to close her eyes for a surprise.

When Hope opened her eyes again, she was treated to a romantic evening complete with wine and lit candles.

Carter insisted Hope was the only woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with and eventually shocked her when he dropped to one knee.

Once Carter pulled out a small box and exposed the ring inside, he asked Hope to marry him and left her head spinning!

At the cliff house, Liam staggered due to some head pain and admitted to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) that his symptoms were worsening.

However, Liam was torn about whether to try extending his life with chemo and radiation.

Part of Liam wanted more time with Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras) and Beth Spencer (Jordyn Grace), but another part of him didn’t want them to watch him suffer.

Liam thanked Finn in advance since he’d be counting on Finn and perhaps Carter to step up once he was gone.

Although Liam knew he wouldn’t be replaced as a father, he told Finn that he was passing the torch.

Finn insisted he’d be honored and embraced Liam in a heartfelt scene on Monday’s B&B episode.

At Forrester Creations, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) found Daphne in the design office and got updates on her decision to leave town.

Daphne complained about being blindsided by Steffy’s decision to bring Hope back to the company.

Daphne also griped about Carter reuniting with Hope – even after she had seemingly recommitted to Liam.

Steffy got uncomfortable over the misunderstanding, but she didn’t spill anything about Liam’s health news.

Captain Deuce Stevens (Tom Arnold) eventually arrived, so Steffy realized Daphne was flying back to Paris right away.

After Steffy and Daphne said their goodbyes, Deuce got Daphne set up with plenty of Champagne on the plane.

After Daphne flashed back to various moments with Carter, she sat there in despair as the jet prepared for takeoff.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Carter will throw all his attention on Hope and their future, but some fresh bumps in the road could be brewing!
