Phyllis believed she would find evidence to expose Sharon, but she was wrong.

Sharon, despite her unstable mental state, had been too careful. Any evidence that could implicate her had long been erased, buried under layers of lies and calculated moves.

Phyllis thought she was getting closer to the truth, but instead, she had walked into a dangerous trap.

As Phyllis searched through Sharon’s belongings, the sound of footsteps behind her froze her in place. Sharon stood in the doorway, her eyes wide with fury and confusion.

“What the hell are you doing here, Phyllis?” Sharon demanded, her voice trembling with rage.

Phyllis, trying to keep her composure, straightened up and replied, “I know what you did, Sharon. You killed Heather, and I’m going to prove it. I won’t let you destroy my son’s life.”

Sharon’s expression shifted, her face contorting with anger as she stepped closer. “You’re out of your mind! I didn’t kill anyone! If anyone is destroying their child’s life, it’s you.

You’re the one breaking into people’s homes, planting evidence—maybe you killed Heather and are now trying to pin it on me!”

The tension between them escalated quickly, both hurling accusations. Phyllis fought to stay calm, but Sharon was unraveling. Her accusations grew more unhinged, her fury taking over. And then, without warning, Sharon lunged at Phyllis.

The two women collided in a brutal struggle. Phyllis, though determined, was no match for Sharon’s chaotic strength, fueled by paranoia and desperation.

Sharon’s blows were wild and relentless. It wasn’t long before Phyllis collapsed, hitting the floor with a sickening thud—unconscious or worse.

Sharon stood over her, panting, as the reality of what she’d just done hit her. Phyllis lay motionless, her face pale, her body still. Panic surged through Sharon—this wasn’t supposed to happen. She hadn’t meant to kill Phyllis, had she?

In a panic, Sharon’s thoughts raced. She had to act fast. The river—the same dark waters that had swallowed Heather’s body—would take Phyllis too.

But as Sharon considered getting rid of Phyllis’s body, something inside her flickered—remorse, guilt, maybe even fear. She had crossed a line she never intended to.

As Sharon knelt down to check for a pulse, her trembling fingers confirmed her worst fear—there was nothing. No sign of life. But as Sharon sat back, her mind spiraling, a faint groan stopped her cold. Phyllis wasn’t dead.

Sharon’s panic turned to dread. Phyllis was still alive, but barely. Now Sharon faced an impossible decision—leave Phyllis to die or finish the job. But could she really kill Phyllis Summers?

Before Sharon could make her decision, a noise outside startled her. Someone was coming. With no time to think, Sharon fled, leaving Phyllis unconscious on the floor. She had no plan, no direction—all she knew was that she had to escape before it was too late.
